Its your kids playing in the middle of the floor surrounded by toys and books. It’s the look you give your significant other when they make a joke or do something nice for you. Its your dog on the floor waiting for a piece of food to drop.
This is the perfect opportunity to capture your everyday life. People normally hire photographers for big events but we don’t live in big events, we aren’t dressed up to go to a wedding every day. The chaos the mess the noise that’s our everyday. And it is picture perfect in every way.
Story telling is great for people who have kids because t is so hard to have everyone pose and look at the camera at the same time, this way you get great photos of everyone interacting.

Some families chose an outing such as the zoo, the pool, the park, soccer games, the fair. Others play outside with the kids, and some chose certain activities such as making breakfast or game night! This is your family so any activity you would normally do is perfect!
For couples snuggling in bed, cooking together, going shopping (grocery, antique, home improvement) or going on a date or walk all work great for this kind of shoot! You don’t have to be posed and made up for people to see how much love you have for each other, honestly it’s the moments you don’t notice there’s a picture being taken you can see it the best.
